Office communicator presence not updating crispen glover dating amanda
Hi, I've got two types of Jabber client deployment - on prem and cloud based (this is the old webex connect, not jabber for telepresence). Calendar appointment whilst they do show up within meeting tab on Jabber client, the status of the client doesnt change to "In a Meeting" during appointments. I have modified AD attribute proxyaddress for on prem clients to SIP:[email protected], I've assumed that for off prem clients, it would be SIP:[email protected] as used by login details. Both have different issues with calendar integration. I cant seem to find any documentation about calendar integration with webex connect clients. Calendar appointments works fine - ie show up in the meeting tab, and status changes correctly.Yes, this is old news and there’s about 462 blog entries (ok, that’s a made up number, but there are a lot) about how to force Communicator 2007 R2 to do an Address Book (Galcontacts.db) update. These blog entries will talk about the July 2009 update for Communicator 2007 R2 and how it introduced a random delay of 0-60 minutes for Communicator 2007 R2 to download an updated Gal to prevent the network from getting hammered by so many clients downloading an updated Gal all at the same time. And yes, these blog entries also talk about a registry entry you can create called Gal Download Initial Delay and creating a Dword set to 0 in order to force Communicator to do an instant update.
In this particular case, popup shows previous title of the user. Background: By default, every morning at approximately AM, the new address book is updated and at some random time within the first hour of logging into the workstation the next day, the updates from the day before are downloaded in the compact delta file. After updating the address book, searching for Judith produced the expected results: The Lync client handles SIP address changes fairly well.Just remember to have users update their meetings and let any federated contacts know that their SIP address has changed.I have an Avaya 8.1 IP Office System installed and One-X portal is also installed. All of the functionality except for the messaging is working. same applicatoin on my IPAD is working fine with 1xportal 8.1.92 in my office. becuase my collegues are saying its a network issue!!
